Under the theme “All the Way to 100 Years,” Marius Pedersen A/S gathered all their Danish employees from across the country for a grand anniversary celebration in the style of a festival. This event marked a century of achievements in road maintenance, environment, waste management, recycling, and sustainable solutions.

A complete setup

With ALIVE as the total partner, an empty grassy area at the headquarters in Ferritslev on Funen was transformed into a complete festival site—featuring stages, electricity, toilets, food stalls, lounge areas, and an experienced production team ensuring every detail came together to create a memorable anniversary.

The festival area was divided into several atmospheric zones, including two stages: the “100-Year Stage” and the “Container Stage.” There was also “The Backyard,” where music, games, and activities created a lively energy, alongside a street food area where guests could enjoy meals throughout the day and evening.

Participants were free to move at their own pace, exploring the stages, lounge areas, and fun attractions.

Rasmus Bjerg served as the host, guiding guests through the day’s program from the stage. The music lineup featured Scarlet Pleasure, TV-2, Safri Duo, and Rasmus Bjerg, who lovingly twisted John Mogensen’s classics. There was also a 100-year quiz, Drag Queens bingo, a tombola, various stunt shows, cozy lounges, a disco area with a DJ, and delightful street food stalls. Meals were pre-ordered, and participants received food tickets for collection. The day was topped off with an open bar, perfectly rounding out the festive experience.

Total responsibility from concept to execution

ALIVE was responsible for the entire planning, setup, and execution—from festival site layout to practical details like permits, stages, electricity, toilets, stalls, technical aspects, sound, lighting, security, crew, merchandise, entertainment, program, catering, and coordinating subcontractors for all event components.

ALIVE also organized the logistics for transportation with transfer buses from 36 pickup locations across Denmark, offering guests transport from local branches to the headquarters, and shuttle buses to and from city parking areas. To complete the experience, all participants were welcomed with festival wristbands and bucket hats—small touches that enhanced the festival atmosphere.

An event with consideration

Sustainability was integrated into every aspect of the event. Working with an environmental consultant from Marius Pedersen A/S, waste was sorted into various types and then weighed to provide data on recycling rates and insights for future events. The registration process was also designed to give an overview of participant numbers, food quantities, allergens, and special needs, ensuring resources were used optimally with minimal waste.
